USA Cycling

USA Cycling is the national governing body for competitive cycling, and the home of Olympic bike racing in America.

We are the heart of bike racing - we bring to life the speed and thrill of competitive cycling and create the cycling heroes of Team USA, who inspire our nation, and drive us to future success.

USA Cycling is the official cycling organization recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and the International Cycling Union (UCI) and is responsible for identifying, training and selecting cyclists to represent the United States in international competition. In addition to preparing elite-level athletes for world-class competition, USA Cycling aims to ensure the ongoing safety and development of the sport in America.

The Velo Sports Center at StubHub Center is the official training track of the U.S. national program. Some of the sport's most elite track cyclists including Sarah Hammer and Taylor Phinney have trained and competed at the Velo Sports Center since it opened in 2004.
