Manchester City, Club America & Atlas join L.A. Galaxy and Chivas USA to train for upcoming Southern California matches

CARSON, CA (July 12, 2011)- While the world tunes in to watch the United States compete in the Women's World Cup in Germany this week, southern California soccer fans will have the opportunity to watch five of the most popular soccer clubs in the world train this week at The Home Depot Center in Carson, California.

On the heals of the L.A. Galaxy's triumph over the Chicago Fire in front of 20,000 fans this past Saturday night while over 4,000 fans jammed into The Home Depot Center's Tennis Stadium to witness Brandon 'Bam Bam' Rios knock out Urbano Antillon in three rounds to win the title of World Lightweight Champion, The Home Depot Center will open its doors to become a training facility for five professional soccer clubs. Beginning this Monday, July 11th, five professional soccer teams will be at The Home Depot Center on the same day s they train for upcoming southern California matches when Manchester City Soccer Club arrives to make The Home Depot Center their training home for the next two weeks. Joining Manchester City at The Home Depot Center are Club America and Atlas, training for their The Home Depot Center match this coming Wednesday as well as the Galaxy and Chivas USA who are preparing for upcoming MLS and friendly matches taking place this week and next.
