GALAXY LOOK TO EXTEND FOUR GAME WINNING STREAK: After defeating the New England Revolution, 1-0 on Saturday, the Galaxy are currently riding a four-game winning streak in to the month of June. On Military Appreciation Night this Fri., June 3, the Galaxy will re-kindle one of the best rivalries in MLS as they take on D.C. United at 8 p.m. On Sat., June 11, the Galaxy will take on Eastern Conference rival Toronto FC in their final regular season meeting of the season. The game, which is presented by MLS Copa Budweiser, will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. Fans can also catch the Galaxy Academy's U-16 and U-18 teams twice this month at The Home Depot Center. The teams will be in action against Nomads FC and San Diego Surf on June 4 and June 5, respectively, with U-16 games at 1 p.m. and U-18 games at 3:30 p.m. at The Home Depot Center. BUSY MONTH AGAINST WESTERN CONFERENCE RIVALS FOR CHIVAS USA: The Red-and-White will host three home games in the month of June against Western Conference rivals at The Home Depot Center. First, Chivas USA will host the Vancouver Whitecaps tonight, Wed., June 1 at 7:30 p.m. The Red-and-White tied 0-0 the first game of the season against the expansion team at Vancouver. Chivas USA will then face another Western Conference rival, the Portland Timbers, on Sat., June 4 at 7:30 p.m. It will be the first time Chivas USA faces the Portland Timbers in MLS. GOLD CUP RETURNS TO CARSON MONDAY, JUNE 6: The 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup kicks off this weekend, and The Home Depot Center will host first round Group B matches on Mon., June 6, featuring Grenada vs. Jamaica at 6 p.m., followed by Guatemala vs. Honduras at 8 p.m. Tickets, starting as low as $30, are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, including Ticketmaster.com and The Home Depot Center Box Office, open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, please visit concacaf.com.

BOXING IS IN SEASON IN CARSON: The Home Depot Center will host its second boxing match of the year on Sat., July 9, featuring undefeated World Boxing Association (WBA) lightweight champion Brandon Rios as he makes the first defense of his world title, taking on two-time world title challenger and current Top Five-rated contender Urbano Antillon. The co-main event will feature former International Boxing Federation (IBF) welterweight champion Kermit Cintron and Carlos Molina in a 10-round super welterweight fight. U.S. WOMEN HAVE ONE GAME LEFT BEFORE 2011 FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP: The full U.S. Women's National Team has just one international match remaining before the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup in Germany, taking on Mexico on June 5 at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J. The match will kick off at 2 p.m. ET and be broadcast live on ESPN2. The team will leave for a pre-Women's World Cup training camp in Austria in mid-June. The 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup, being held in nine German venues, starts on June 26 and runs through July 17. The USA kicks off the tournament on June 28 against Korea DPR in Dresden. Players with future aspirations of representing the USA in a women's World Cup will be at The Home Depot Center from June 11-18 as the U.S. U-17 Women's National Team will hold a training camp as part of a busy summer of U.S. Soccer activity across the country and the world. GIORGI BEATS GLATCH IN CHALLENGER FINAL, USTA TRAINING CENTER-WEST TO HOST TRAINING CAMPS IN JUNE: Top-seeded Camila Giorgi of Italy captured the Carson USTA Women's $50,000 Challenger title on Sunday with a 7-6 (4), 6-1 win over No. 2 seeded American Alexa Glatch at The Home Depot Center. The annual seven-day tournament featured female tennis players from all over the world, giving them an opportunity to earn points towards their professional tour ranking. This month, the USTA Training Center-West will host a number of events at The Home Depot Center. On June 4, the USTA will host a National Junior Tennis & Learning (NJTL) Coaches Orientation for coaches in the USTA Southern California Section, and on June 5, the center will host a USTA Competition Training Center Match Competition.
