FIREWORKS AND FRIENDLY AGAINST AC MILAN HIGHLIGHT JULY FOR LA GALAXY: The LA Galaxy will host two games at The Home Depot Center this month, including the annual Fourth of July game against the New England Revolution and a high-profile international friendly against Italian side AC Milan on Sunday, July 19. The LA Galaxy open the month with their annual Fourth of July Fireworks Extravaganza against the New England Revolution, on Saturday, July 4, at 8:00 p.m., at The Home Depot Center. This will be the first meeting between the two sides this season and the sixth time that they have played one another on Independence Day. Last year New England defeated the Galaxy 2-1 in front of a sold out crowd at The Home Depot Center. Following two road games, including one on Saturday, July 11 against Chivas USA in the second installment of the Honda Super Clásico, the Galaxy return home on Sunday, July 19, when they host Italian giant AC Milan. The 17-time Serie A champions come to The Home Depot Center for the first time with a roster packed with stars such as Ronaldinho, Pato and Filippo Inzaghi to take on the Galaxy in what is expected to be David Beckham's first home game back with the Galaxy. This game is one of the most highly anticipated events of the year and is a great way to kick-off the second half of the Galaxy's season. Also this month, on Wednesday, July 8, the LA Galaxy Foundation and The Home Depot Center Charitable Foundation will host their second Camps for Kids at The Home Depot Center. Camps for Kids is an opportunity for approximately 100 children ages 7-10 to participate in a camp that features soccer drills, including dribbling, passing, shooting, and small sided games as well as fitness tips and a visit from many of their favorite Galaxy players.
