CARSON, CALIFORNIA, March 6, 2008-David Beckham, 19 Entertainment and AEG today announced the launch of a new U.S. specific website for The David Beckham Academy (www.thedavidbeckhamacademy.com). Featuring an up-to-date calendar of programs and events, the new website will give consumers the latest news taking place at the Academy's U.S. location at The Home Depot Center in Carson, California.

\"As we continue to grow the U.S. Academy, we are thrilled to unveil our new website, which compliments new 2008 programs and offerings,\" said David Beckham. \"The new site is a place where parents and youngsters can learn about the Academy in an interactive format.\"

New website features include easy-to-navigate tabs including: David Beckham Zone, Schools Program, Academy Los Angeles and Latest News. The David Beckham Zone highlights Beckham's inspiring career and provides information on his off-the-field activities, and links to David's regular blog. Visitors can click on questions about his childhood memories and career choices and get real responses straight from the soccer star himself. Other highlights on the new website include information on the Academy's Schools Outreach Program, which provides students with a co-curricular educational experience, using soccer as a base for learning. The program was launched in the U.S. in December, 2007, after having had enormous success at the London Academy, where more than 10,000 children continue to benefit from the initiative each year.

Beckham, the world's most recognizable soccer icon who joined Major League Soccer's (MLS) Los Angeles Galaxy last summer, created The David Beckham Academy in both the United States and London to give young people quality coaching opportunities similar to those he had; the Academy soccer curriculum was developed by Beckham's Manchester United FC Youth Coach Eric Harrison and includes both team and individual training, speed and agility assessments and healthy living education.

Last year, more than 1,300 children aged 4-15, from 47 States, attended The David Beckham Academy in Los Angeles. Offering children the choice of three-day (ages 7-11), five-day (ages 12-15) and 7/23 Club (ages 4-7) courses, academy participants have access to the same full size fields, buildings with state of the art classrooms, training facilities, and locker rooms as professional soccer players on the LA Galaxy, Chivas USA and U.S. Men's & Women's National teams at The Home Depot Center.

The spring break academies run from March 28 to April 13, offering three-day academy sessions for players ages seven to 11.
