StubHub Center Monthly Calendar: July 2016
CARSON, Calif. (Tuesday, July 5, 2016) – The full calendar of StubHub Center event times and information during July 2016 is outlined below. Any media interested in covering an event below or receiving additional information can contact a member of the StubHub Center Communications Department.
July 7, 14, 21, 28 – Carson Farmer’s Market
StubHub Center is the home of the Carson Farmer’s Market, which takes place every Thursday from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. PT in Lot 13. The Carson Farmer’s Market, managed by LA City Farm, is free and open to the general public. The market offers fresh produce, quality food and various handcrafted items, including jewelry and other clothing, which will be available for purchase every Thursday. Prior to moving to the StubHub Center, the Carson Farmer’s Market was located at the SouthBay Pavilion Mall.
The Carson Farmer’s Market is located at StubHub Center in Lot 13 with easy access off Victoria Street at Gate D.
July 8-10 – SCNCA Elite and Junior State Championships

The Velo Sports Center at StubHub Center is set to host the Elite and Junior State Championships for the Southern California – Nevada Cycling Association (SCNCA).
July 10 – Campeón de Campeones and SuperCopa
Campeón de Campeones (Champion of Champions), the emblematic Mexican championship match between the winners of the two most recent Liga MX league tournaments, will be played in California in the second annual marquee event in the United States. SuperCopa, which will decide the ultimate Copa MX champion between the last two Mexican Cup winners, will also be played as part of the event. In the first match of the night, Copa MX Clausura 2016 champions Chivas de Guadalajara take on Tiburones Rojos de Veracruz, the former Copa MX Clausura 2015 champion, for the SuperCopa crown. The soccer showcase will conclude with Campeón de Campeones, the storied Mexican championship that originated in 1942. In the second edition of the title match since 2006, Apertura 2015 champions Tigres UANL and Pachuca will face off to decide the absolute champions of Liga MX.

July 15 – LA Galaxy vs. Houston Dynamo
The LA Galaxy and stars Steven Gerrard and Giovani dos Santos will face Western Conference foe Houston Dynamo for the second time of the 2016 season. In the first meeting, LA defeated Houston 4-1 away in Houston behind two goals from Giovani dos Santos. The match will take place at 8:00 p.m. PT on Friday, July 15.

July 19-24 – 2016 Reebok CrossFit Games
The CrossFit Games are the world stage for the Sport of Fitness. Hundreds of thousands of athletes enter the season in February, but only the top fraction of a percent earn the chance to compete for the title Fittest on Earth. For fans, the Games are a six-day festival of fitness.

July 30 – PSG vs. Leicester City

StubHub Center and the LA Galaxy will host Ligue 1 winners Paris Saint-Germain and English Premier League winners Leicester City on Saturday, July 30, at 8:30 p.m. PT as part of the 2016 International Champions Cup (ICC). Tickets for the match are available here.
July 31 – Arsenal vs. Chivas Guadalajara
StubHub Center and the LA Galaxy will host a match between Arsenal FC and Club Deportivo Guadalajara, commonly known as Chivas, on Sunday, July 31, at 6:00 p.m. PT.
Arsenal will visit StubHub Center to face Chivas as part of the club’s U.S. tour that will also see the club take on the 2016 Major League Soccer All-Star Team at Avaya Stadium in San Jose on July 28. Chivas, who play in Liga MX, Mexico’s top division, is one of the most winning teams in the history of Mexican soccer, with 11 league titles, three Cup titles and a CONCACAF Championship.
