CARSON, Calif. (Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015) – The calendar of StubHub Center event times and information during December of 2015 is outlined below. Any media interested covering an event below or receiving additional information can contact a member of the StubHub Center Communications Department.

STUBHUB CENTER – DECEMBER 2015


Carson Farmer’s Market

  • 9 a.m.-2 p.m. PT
  • Thursdays, December 3rd. 10th and 17th

StubHub Center is the new home of the Carson Farmer’s Market, which will take place every Thursday from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. PT in Lot 13. The Carson Farmer’s Market, managed by LA City Farm, is free and open to the general public. The market offers fresh produce, quality food and various handcrafted items, including jewelry and other clothing, which will be available for purchase every Thursday. Prior to moving to the StubHub Center, the Carson Farmer’s Market was located at the SouthBay Pavilion Mall.

The Carson Farmer’s Market will be located at StubHub Center in Lot 13 with easy access off Victoria Street at Gate D.

*Note: There will be no Carson Farmer’s Market on Dec. 24 or Dec. 31.

2015 LA Galaxy Holiday Party

  • 12-6:30 p.m. PT

The LA Galaxy will throw a Holiday Party at StubHub Center this Sunday, Dec. 6 from 12-6:30 p.m. PT. The 2015 LA Galaxy Holiday Party will feature a free screening of the movie “Elf” at approximately 4:45 p.m. PT following the 2015 MLS Cup Final between Columbus Crew SC and Portland Timbers FC (1 p.m. PT), which will both be shown on GalaxyTV. The party will also feature numerous festive activities and games including LA Galaxy holiday gifts, a designated space for snow and sledding, a toy drive and Galaxy ornament sale, a raffle to win 2016 Season Ticket Memberships, holiday food and drinks and the 2016 Meet Your Seat event. All parking and admission for the holiday party is free.

StubHub Center Foundation & City of Carson Chamber of Commerce Toy Drive

  • Tuesday, Dec. 1 – Wed., Dec. 16

The StubHub Center Foundation and City of Carson Chamber of Commerce Toy Drive will collect new unwrapped toys and books for U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots and  Carson Sheriff Department Toy Drive. Unwrapped toys and books valued at $5 or more can be dropped off at the toy drive boxes located in the StubHub Center lobby. The toys will be delivered to children (ages 2-13) in need located in the City of Carson by the Carson Sheriff Department and U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.

Snoop Youth Football – 2015 League Championship

The Snoop Youth Football League is a 501c3 non-profit organization founded to provide the opportunity for inner-city children to participate in youth football and cheer. The SYFL serves children between the ages of five and thirteen, teaching them the values of teamwork, good sportsmanship, discipline, and self-respect, while also stressing the importance of academics. The Snoop Youth Football League was founded by entertainment icon, Snoop Dogg. The fall of 2005 was the inaugural season of the SYFL, and there were over 1,300 kids in the Los Angeles area that participated.

Precision Pass Soccer Camp

  • Saturday, December 19

Originally based in England, Precision Pass is an established company providing unique, exciting and memorable soccer tournaments inside some of the most prestigious and recognizable soccer stadiums. Precision Pass provides the opportunity to play on the field at famous sports stadiums and venues. They will host an event at StubHub Center for the third-straight year.

Keisuke Honda’s Soltilo Soccer School 2015

  • Tuesday, December 22

AC Milan and Japanese National Team star Keisuke Honda will host a soccer clinic for children on Dec. 22 at StubHub Center. Registration is open until Sunday, Dec. 6. If number of application exceeds availability, participants will be chosen by drawing. There is no cost for participation.

Rose Bowl Game practice

  • December 27-30

The 102nd Rose Bowl Game will be held on January 1, 2016 at the Rose Bowl Stadium. The game will feature the champion of the Pac-12 and Big Ten Conference. If the Conference champion is selected to participate in the College Football Playoff Semifinal, the Rose Bowl Game will select the next best team in the conference. The Rose Bowl Game will host a College Football Playoff Semifinal in 2018.

2016 Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl and Veteran’s Job Fair

  • 12-5 p.m. PT – Veteran’s Job Fair
  • 6 p.m. PT – Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl

The United States Marine Corps only selects the best and the brightest to join its ranks, just like the players selected for the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl.  The Marine Corps partners with a third-party recruiting professional to select elite high-school athletes for the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl.  In addition to being among the top-rated football players in the nation, the selection process is also dedicated to choosing players based on their character, academic performance and leadership.
