The Galaxy host the Eastern Conference champion Houston Dynamo in MLS Cup 2012 at The Home Depot Center on Saturday, Dec. 1. LA are aiming to win their fourth MLS Cup title, matching D.C. United's league record, and become just the third club in MLS history to win back-to-back championships. The Galaxy advanced to MLS Cup by knocking off Seattle Sounders FC 4-2 on aggregate in the Western Conference Championship.
MLS Cup 2012, which is scheduled to kickoff at 1:30 p.m. (PT), will be shown live on ESPN and TeleFutura and is a rematch of last year's championship game. The Galaxy defeated Houston 1-0 in MLS Cup 2011 at The Home Depot Center with a goal from MLS Cup MVP Landon Donovan in the 72nd minute. That game was played in front of a then-stadium record crowd of 30,281.
