LAND ROVER RENEWS ITS PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT WITH THE JPMORGAN CHASE OPEN FOR THIS SUMMER'S WTA TENNI

(Carson, CA) -- Land Rover North America has renewed its sponsorship agreement with the 2006 JPMorgan Chase Open presented by Herbalife.  The annual Los Angeles WTA tour stop, scheduled for August 7-13, at The Home Depot Center's Tennis Stadium on the campus of California State University, Dominguez Hills, will feature top players such as Maria Sharapova, Venus and Serena Williams, Elena Dementieva and Natalie Petrova.

The agreement calls for Land Rover to receive prominent on court exposure, in-stadium branding and select marketing rights as part of its commitment for the 37th annual women's tennis tournament.  The company will receive additional visibility thru the Land Rover Clubhouse, a private hospitality area overlooking center court accessible to special guests of Land Rover, Center Court Club members and other tournament VIP's.  Another element of the partnership agreement is the availability of complimentary parking in a \"dedicated Land Rover parking lot\" for attendees who drive to The Home Depot Center in a Land Rover vehicle.

Also returning to The Home Depot Center's adjacent soccer stadium is a specially created off-road obstacle course.  Designed to show off the look, design, features and maneuverability of select Land Rover vehicles, tournament players and specially invited guests of Land Rover will have the ability to get behind the wheel and test their driving skills and prowess while experiencing all that the vehicles have to offer.

\"Land Rover is pleased to return as a sponsor of the JPMorgan Chase Open for 2006,\" said Richard Beattie, executive vice president, Land Rover North America. \"This event is an ideal match with the Land Rover brand and it is truly an honor to be involved with these amazing female athletes.\"

\"We are very pleased that Land Rover North America will once again be a partner is our presentation of the JPMorgan Chase Open presented by Herbalife,\" said Bill Peterson, Tournament Director.  \"This year's 'Ultimate Tennis Celebration' will provide the perfect backdrop and audience for Land Rover to reach thousands of sports and tennis fans in person and millions more on television with images of  the unique and luxurious vehicles which are part of their line.   We would also anticipate that the 'interactive' off-road course we are once again creating will be one of the tournament's most popular sights for our fans.\"

All session ticket packages starting at just $115 are currently on sale for the 2006 JPMorgan Chase Open presented by Herbalife with group discounts of up to 50% offered.  In addition, weekend ticket packages, which sold out last year, are also currently on sale.   The weekend package includes a total of five sessions on Friday (two sessions), Saturday (two sessions) and the finals on Sunday.  Plus tennis fans have the opportunity to save up to $75 off the regular price of individual tickets.  For more information on all ticket packages, call 1-877-AEG-TICKETS (1-877-234-8425).
