Jelena Jankovic Adds Her Name to the List of the Top Ranked Players in the World at the 2007 Los Angeles Ultimate Tennis Celebration Presented by Herbalife

The Current No. 3 Ranked Player on the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour Joins Sharapova & Serena Williams

CARSON, CA (June 12, 2007) - Jelena Jankovic, the world's number three ranked player becomes the fourth top-ten player to commit to play in the 2007 Los Angeles Ultimate Tennis Celebration Presented by Herbalife August 6-12 at The Home Depot Center on the campus of California State University, Dominguez Hills in Carson, Calif. Jankovic, last year's runner-up and the recent 2007 French Open Semi-Finalist joins No. 2 ranked, Maria Sharapova, along with Serena Williams, the 2007 Australian Open champion and current No. 7 ranked player to lead the list of elite players entered to participate in southern California's most prestigious summer tennis tradition

Joining Jankovic, Sharapova, and Serena Williams in the 56 player field will be Nadia Petrova and Dinara Safina (currently ranked 10th and 12th in the world, respectively) and Nicole Vaidisova (ranked No. 14). This year will mark the 38th year of the popular southern California stop on the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour which has hosted a who's who of No. 1 ranked players and competitors who have gone on to win the US Open in New York just weeks later.
