Grand Prix Sports forms partnership with AEG for the 2013 Grand Prix Rugby Sevens Championship

(LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA) December 6, 2012 - Grand Prix Entertainment signed an agreement with AEG to partner with the Los Angeles-based company's sales and marketing division to provide support services for the Grand Prix Rugby Sevens Championship. The 2013 event will take place July 12-14 at AEG facilities' The Home Depot Center.

In partnership with USA Rugby, Grand Prix Sports presents The Grand Prix Rugby Sevens Championships, which will feature 24 World Cup-caliber international teams playing 60 games over three days for a prize of $1,000,000; the richest sevens tournament in history.

AEG Sales and Marketing is the centralized sales and marketing team for STAPLES Center, L.A. LIVE, The Home Depot Center and other entities in the AEG family. AEG sells and markets over 150 sports and entertainment events a year, including sports championships and exhibitions, concerts family shows, conventions, movies and festivals.
