First-ever Central American \"Doble Clasico Presented by Metro PCS\" featuring Comunicaciones vs. Municipal and FAS vs. Aguila kicks off Saturday at The Home Depot Center

Major Community Events and Ceremonies are planned this Thursday and Friday

CARSON, CALIFORNIA (Tuesday, January 24, 2012) - In less than one week, AEG Facilities' The Home Depot Center and PRIMETIME Sports, will host the first ever \"Doble Clásico Centroamericano presented by METRO PCS\" featuring Guatemala's Comunicaciones vs. Municipal, and El Salvador's FAS vs. Club Deportivo Aguila, Central America's most popular teams. This is the first time in history that these two major \"Central American Soccer Classics'\" will be featured in a single night. The games will kickoff at The Home Depot Center starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday, January 28.

Celebrations and events will be taking place leading up to the Doble Clasico Centroamericano, including open-to-the-community practices by both Guatemalan teams, a pressconference, a VIP Welcoming Reception for all players and special guests at AEG Live, and a day-of-game ceremony to recognize the four legendary players that have been named the game's team ambassadors.

The official press conference previewing the game will take place at The Home Depot Center this Friday, 27 at 12:00 p m , where media can receive their credentials. Complimentary food will be provided.

All four teams will be playing with their entire squads. The winner of each match will be awarded the Doble Clasico Centroamericano trophy, and in the case of a tie in regulation, the winner will be decided by penalty kicks.

Media who were issued 2011 Major League Soccer (MLS) season credentials by either the LA Galaxy or Chivas USA will be honored for the January 28th match. About Doble Clasico Centroamericano

Doble Clasico Centroamericano is a doubleheader international soccer game, where the top teams from El Salvador and Guatemala will face each other for the first time in Los Angeles on the same day at The Home Depot Center. The first match scheduled at 6pm will featured Comunicaciones vs Municipal, followed by FAS vs Aguila. The winners of the each match will be crowned with the DobleClasico Centroamericano Cup.
