California get ready – the Professional Bull Riders are headed to StubHub Center – July 5-6

Carson_600x300.jpgPUEBLO, Colo. – California bull riding fans will get the opportunity to experience the toughest sport on dirt when the Professional Bull Riders Blue DEF Velocity Tour bucks into StubHub Center on July 5-6, 2014. Two-time defending World Champion Bushwacker will be celebrating the 4th of July weekend bucking at StubHub Center. 

During this two day event, the best up and coming bull riders in the world will face off with foes nearly 10 times their weight in sinewy brawn during the most thrilling 8 seconds in sports. Each rider will face off against at least two of the rankest bulls on the planet. At the end of the competition, the rider with the highest combined score will be crowned the champion. 

The action begins Saturday, July 5 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, July 6 at 2 p.m.

Tickets, ranging in price from $15 to $75 go on sale Wednesday, May 7 to the general public.  Tickets are available at StubHub Center Box Office and online at www.axs.com.

Carson will be the ninth stop on the 2014 Blue DEF Velocity Tour.  It kicked off in Reno, Nv. on January 18 and will make stops in cities such as Orlando, Fla., Detroit, Mich., Cincinnati, Ohio, Louisville, Ky. and Minneapolis, Minn. this year.

Select events will be broadcast on PBR LIVE, a CBS Interactive digital broadcast platform. PBR LIVE is a partnership between the PBR and CBS Interactive, offering more than 100 digital broadcasts annually.  The Blue DEF Velocity Tour broadcasts on PBR LIVE represent the first time that PBR fans will be able to view a regular schedule of non-BFTS events, a long-standing request from PBR’s passionate fans.
