AEG Facilities venues take 32 of the Worldwide Top 200 in Pollstar Magazine's 2012 year-end rankings

LOS ANGELES, CA (Tuesday, January 8, 2013) - Thirty two venues owned, operated or affiliated with AEG Facilities were named in the list of the top 200 arenas worldwide compiled by the well-respected concert and venue industry publication Pollstar magazine. Pollstar's 2012 rankings, which are based on concert and show ticket sales, showed that AEG Facilities' venues accounted for 45% of ticket sales in the Top 10, and 32% in the Top 25. In total, AEG Facilities accounted for nearly 10 million tickets sold in 2012, accumulated from venues across four continents.

For the sixth consecutive year, London's The O2 tops the list at #1, with more than 1.5 million tickets sold in 2012 while Los Angeles' STAPLES Center was ranked #1 in North America and #7 worldwide for the second year in a row. The O2 has led the global rankings every year since it opened in 2007.

Along with The O2 and STAPLES Center both being ranked #1 in their respective countries, AEG Facilities' venues also rank as tops in the countries of Germany (O2 World & O2 World Hamburg), Sweden (Ericsson Globe), the Netherlands (Ahoy Rotterdam) and numbers 2 and 3 in Australia (Sydney's Allphones Arena & Brisbane Entertainment Centre).
